Introducing the most attractive app in the cooling field

March 11, 2019

Installers and service technicians around the world work smarter and faster every day using the Danfoss CoolApps Toolbox, a collection of mobile apps uniquely designed to help them with their everyday tasks. Now, Danfoss is ready to put one more helpful tool in the palm of their hand.

Introducing Magnetic Tool, a simple yet advanced app that harnesses the power of your smartphone’s hardware to turn it into a precision magnetic field detector.

Up until now, cooling and industrial techs have had to rely on a variety of tools to detect malfunctions in solenoid valves and ensure they are functioning properly. Magnetic Tool is a much more convenient option. It’s available globally for Android and iPhone, so, once downloaded, the right tool is just a tap away.

Not only is Magnetic Tool more convenient — it’s also more precise. The app provides detailed information about the magnetic field of the AC or DC coil in a solenoid valve and can indicate the rotation direction of certain types of motors.

Finally, Magnetic Tool can help users document the repair and installation process by taking a picture of the faulty component and sharing it with the system’s owner.

Magnetic Tool is available now for download on the iTunes App Store and Google Play store.
