Teco Westinghouse: Optim VH Product Update

The Optim VH line of low voltage motors is a series of NEMA Standard 3-phase motors from Teco Westinghouse, featuring a vertical hollow shaft with high thrust that comes in 60Hz, 230/460V, 460V or 575V. The Optim VH Vertical Hollow Shaft motors are designed and engineered to meet all your pumping needs including wastewater, irrigation, water treatment and lift stations. These feature packed NEMA Premium efficiency inverter duty motors are built with the quality and durability that has made TECO-Westinghouse a global leader in electric motors.

As of late, the Optim VH series has received a design update. These changes include:

  1.    –   Couplings pre-installed (BX Dimension as listed below):
    •       –   210TP – 280TP     BX = 1.001″
    •       –   320TP – 360TP     BX = 1.188″
    •       –   400TP – 445TP     BX = 1.501″
    •       –   447TP                    BX = 1.688″
    •       –   449TP                    BX = 1.938″
  2.    –   Shaft Grounding Ring Included in 100HP and Larger
