Type 4/12 Wiring Trough 1486 Series from Hammond Manufacturing

Introducing the 1486 series Type 4/12 wiring trough from Hammond Manufacturing, which is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water. This wiring trough complies with standards UL 870 and CSA for types 1, 12 and 4, as well as NEMA type 12 and 4, and IEC 60529 and IP66. This product is formed with 12 gauge steel, with smooth continuously welded seams, and has a butt-hinged cover that is secured with easily operated stainless steel screw clamps.

  • Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.
  • 12 gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back.
  • Troughs and covers are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
