Leviton Announces Agreement Extension with SPIE

Leviton has announced a new three-year agreement with SPIE marking 20 years of cooperation and commitment between the two organizations. Over the past 17 years, Leviton and SPIE Nederland, the Dutch subsidiary of SPIE, have maintained a long-lasting, relationship to provide vital markets such as hospitals, schools and government buildings with high-quality network infrastructure and installations. The new three-year agreement further expands the two companies’ collaboration to 20 years.

Leviton Network Solutions and SPIE utilize their synergies to supply the EMEA region with vital networks. Leviton, as a single-source global manufacturer of copper and fiber cabling systems, supplies SPIE with a full portfolio of networking products, manufactured with fast turnaround times, and industry-leading support.

“The fast turnaround times and reliable and knowledgeable support make us very happy to work with Leviton,” said John Besamusca, Business Unit Manager of SPIE.

“We also complement each other in shared sustainability ambitions,” said Jeroen Loonstra, director for the BeNeLux and DACH region at Leviton Network Solutions. “At Leviton, our CN2030 initiative drives us toward carbon neutrality. In fact, our Glenrothes, Scotland, manufacturing facility has been third-party verified carbon neutral since 2011. SPIE carries sustainability to the core of its services, throughout the entire chain. Everything is oriented around the goal of reducing our combined footprint and emissions. We embrace this goal and can succeed together with our distribution partners such as Kannegieter.”
