TE Connectivity focuses on automation and installation at SPS IPC Drives 2018

November 30, 2018

TE enables its customers to further their move towards Industry 4.0 and IIoT. An important focus is boosting productivity, building reliable production processes and driving cost-efficiency. Highlights will include products for board connectivity, relays, identification and labelling, motor connectivity and industrial communication and power.

Also new this year is a focus on the company’s recently acquired ENTRELEC business. The company offers an extensive range of terminal blocks fitting into various applications. A highlight is the ENTRELEC Terminal Blocks SNK series, available in pluggable, PI spring, and screw clamp technology versions. Qualified for worldwide markets, the SNK series is suitable for use on control panels in harsh industrial and commercial environments such as waste water, rail, solar, marine and more. The SNK series delivers a range of customer benefits, which include faster, smarter and easier connectivity, secured installation and cost savings through optimized logistics.

According to Craig McDonnell, vice president, sales and marketing, SPS provides an excellent opportunity for TE to demonstrate how its highly engineered solutions can enable industrial data driven applications to accelerate performance.

“TE designs and manufactures solutions that connect and protect the flow of power, data and signal in every aspect of our lives,” he said. “In the industrial environment, we focus on creating innovative solutions for enhanced connectivity. From the PCB level to the production line, in the toughest production conditions anywhere in the world.”

“TE partners with customers to produce specialized connectivity and sensing products that make a connected world possible. Our focus on reliability and durability, our commitment to progress, and the unmatched range of our product portfolio enables companies large and small to turn ideas into technology that can transform how the world works and lives.”
