Innovative Shuttle Warehouse

The mountain sports retailer Bergzeit has been operating an automated shuttle warehouse with 54,000 storage locations since 2022. Equipped with regenerative drive technology from SEW-EURODRIVE, the system feeds the lifts’ braking energy back into the grid. The result: greater energy efficiency, lower operating costs, and a more sustainable logistics process.

In addition, Bergzeit invests in a photovoltaic system generating 550,000 kWh annually, electric mobility, and climate-friendly shipping solutions. Together with SEW-EURODRIVE’s innovative systems, this creates a future-proof energy concept for logistics and mountain sports.
