Safety-Related PLCs for Profisafe from Phoenix Contact

The new AXC F XT SPLC 3000 safety controller from Phoenix Contact can be operated as a left-side extension module on the PLCnext Control AXC F 2152 and AXC F3152 devices.

It extends the PLCnext portfolio with a powerful safety PLC for Profisafe devices in Profinet networks. The safety controller can be used in applications up to safety category SIL 3 in accordance with IEC 61508/61511 and PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1.

In operation, the SPLC 3000 can communicate with up to 300 F-Devices as an F-Host and simultaneously act as an F-Device. The safety controller is fully integrated into the open PLCnext Technology ecosystem and provides a high degree of modularity in combination with the Profisafe I/O extensions of the Axiobus, which can be aligned on the right-hand side. The high-performance and redundantly designed ARM-based safety-related CPUs have a clock rate of 800 MHz for channel 1 and 600 MHz for channel 2.

Power Supplies with Integrated Circuit Breaker from Phoenix Contact

The power supplies are particularly space-saving due to their narrow overall width and capability of being mounted directly side by side. The low overall depth enables installation in 210 mm small housings. The power supply units also enable easy handling: Push-in connection technology allows for quick and tool-free installation. Integrated marking fields can be used to easily display equipment identifications and circuits. Due to an intuitive commissioning concept, the devices are quickly ready for use. The mechanical lock of the potentiometers ensures that the devices are also tamper-proof.
