Rockwell Automation Names Paolo Butti Regional President Global Industries

Rockwell Automation, one of the world’s largest companies dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced that Paolo Butti has been named regional president, Global Industries, effective immediately (as of December 17, 2024). Butti will report to Scott Genereux, SVP and Chief Revenue Officer, and he succeeds Jane Barr, who has taken on the role of President, Americas Region.

In this role, Butti will provide sales leadership and strategic direction for global account sales teams. He joined Rockwell in 2012. In his most recent role as global vice president, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Segments and Emerging Industries, he led a high performing team of Industry and OEM segment directors. Butti brings a diverse career of experience spanning more than 25 years, including extensive global experience in automotive, robotics, and industrial automation.

“Paolo has built a successful career across a variety of industries, giving him a deep understanding of our customers and their complex needs,” Genereux said. “His passion for industrial automation, combined with his strong leadership, makes me excited to see the impact he will have in this new role.”

Butti has a master’s degree in radiocommunication engineering from the University of Bologna and a master’s degree in marketing & communication from the University of Torino. He also has a doctoral degree of electronics engineering from the Politecnico di Milano.

Butti’s new role will be based at Rockwell headquarters in Milwaukee.
