The Top Workplace Award by the Detroit Free Press and Chicago Tribune measures employee experience driven by the industry’s most robust benchmarks.

FANUC America, a global industrial automation leader, has been recognized as a Top Workplace for the 14th consecutive year. In 2025, the Detroit Free Press and the Chicago Tribune named FANUC America a winner of its regional award based on an annual employee survey about the workplace experience.

The company has also received national recognition as a Top Workplace USA winner for five consecutive years. The national award is announced by USA Today and purpose-driven solution provider Energage.

“Our employees’ feedback is the most valuable measure of our success,” said Mike Cicco, President and CEO of FANUC America. “Being consistently recognized as one of the nation’s top workplaces reflects the strength of our culture and the dedication of our team—both on the manufacturing floor and in our offices. It’s their commitment that drives our continued excellence.”

Since 2019, FANUC America has invested more than $187 million in its facilities, including more than 1 million square feet of new campus facilities in Michigan, as well as throughout Canada, Mexico and elsewhere in the U.S. With a mission to transform the world through automation, FANUC offers more than 200 robot and collaborative robot model variations, ready to help large and small companies alike achieve their production goals for assembly, dispensing, inspection, machine load/unload, material removal, packaging, palletizing, painting, welding and more.
