As your trusted electrical supplier, Aztec is always looking for ways to serve you better. That is why they are excited to share an important update about how they are aligning their brands to support your business more effectively across Ontario. 

Effective November 3, 2025, Aztec, Dixon and MGM will rebrand as Dixon—a key milestone in Sonepar’s continued evolution in Ontario. 

This is part of a broader transformation where Sonepar’s five Ontario brands will be consolidated into two: 

Dixon – bringing together Aztec, Dixon, and MGM under one refreshed brand. 

Electrozad – combining Electrozad and Sesco under one historic name.

1. Why are Aztec and MGM being rebranded as Dixon Electric? 
This rebranding is part of Sonepar’s strategic alignment in Ontario to streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and strengthen our market presence. By uniting Aztec, Dixon, and MGM under one refreshed brand, they can serve you more efficiently and consistently. 

2. What does this mean for my existing account? 
Your account will remain active and fully functional. There will be no disruption to your service, pricing, or terms. You will simply begin seeing the Dixon Electric name and branding on communications, invoices, and digital platforms starting November 3, 2025. 

3. What do I need to do differently? 
There is nothing that you need to do differently. Please wait for further details and directions. Please continue to: 

  • Speak with your usual account representatives, credit team and go to your usual branch 
  • Send your purchase orders as you have been 
  • Pay invoices as you usually do 

4. Will my sales representative or customer service contact change? 
No. You’ll continue working with the same trusted team. Their associates remain committed to supporting your business with the same level of service you have come to expect. 

5. What changes should I expect in ordering or delivery? 
You will benefit from improved logistics and inventory management, but your ordering and delivery processes will remain familiar and seamless. Any updates will be communicated clearly and in advance. 

6. What happens to Electrozad and Sesco? 
Electrozad and Sesco will continue to operate under the Electrozad brand. This decision reflects their commitment to maintaining strong regional identities while aligning strategically across Ontario.
