Automated Truck Drum Cleaning in the Concrete Industry with MOVI-C® | SEW-EURODRIVE

This reference application from WALTER Cleaningsystems showcases the Cleanjet 2-in-1 system for automated cleaning of truck mixer drums. The system combines medium- and ultra-high-pressure technology (up to 1500 bar) with a precisely controlled robotic arm to remove concrete residues – without manual intervention.

The motion control is based on the MOVI-C® modular automation system from SEW-EURODRIVE. Key components include:

  • the MOVIDRIVE® modular multi-axis system for dynamic motion sequences,
  • and MOVIKIT® software modules for synchronization 6 profile generation.

The result is a safe, efficient, and resource-saving cleaning process that integrates seamlessly into existing operations.

Watch the video to see the system in action and learn more about the automation technology behind it
