EM530 RG: Completing the EM500 3-Phase Energy Meters Family

Enhancing flexibility for challenging retrofit environments.

Carlo Gavazzi Automation is pleased to to announce the launch of the EM530 RG, the latest addition to its successful EM500 Series of three-phase energy analyzers.

With this new release, the EM500 family now delivers a complete portfolio of solutions tailored to a wide range of application needs—from compact installations to demanding retrofit environments.

The EM530 RG is designed to provide maximum installation flexibility, thanks to its current input management via a 100 mV/1kA@50Hz Rogowski coil. This interface enhances adaptability without compromising the robust performance and advanced functionality that define the EM500 Series.

Following the recent launch of the EM530 MV, the EM530 RG further represents the evolution of the EM210 MV, offering full compatibility with the ROG4X and ROG4U Rogowski coil families. This ensures high-accuracy energy measurement, even under distorted load conditions, all within a compact and rugged housing.

“Specifically engineered for retrofit applications,” says Andrea Bernardi, International Product Manager, “the EM530 RG
addresses the need for both space efficiency and installation adaptability, making it an ideal choice for modern energy
monitoring projects.”

Developed in Carlo Gavazzi’s competence centre in Italy, this new energy analyzer is designed to enhance and extend the existing product range, offering a comprehensive set of solutions fully compatible with their energy management monitoring platforms.
