The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is designed to strengthen North American manufacturing and promote mutually beneficial trade. This agreement aims to create more balanced, reciprocal trade relationships that support high-paying jobs and foster economic growth across North America.

A key feature of the USMCA is its focus on updating rules of origin and origin procedures for various products. These new rules are intended to provide greater incentives for sourcing goods and materials within North America.
