Rittal Limited, Canada, is proud to announce that we have been certified as a Great Place to Work® after a thorough, independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute® Canada. This certification is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about their workplace experience.

André Bousette, President, Rittal Limited, Canada said, “Rittal is proud to receive this Great Place to Work certification, primarily because it is a result of the feedback from our employees. The main reason why we conduct this survey year after year, is because we want to hear the voices of our staff, their challenges and triumphs. We use this feedback to enhance our workplace, and I am personally committed to respond to each and every one of our employees’ comments. We fully realize that in order to be a better company and to serve our partners and customers better, we need to first establish ourselves as a workplace in which our employees can take pride in working and contributing!”

For instance, Rittal Canada recently celebrated September 30 as a Day of Truth and Reconciliation by encouraging our employees throughout Canada to wear their Orange ‘Every Child Matters’ T-Shirts. On that day, they also volunteered to clean Scott’s Brae Park that they have sponsored as part of the City of Mississauga’s Adopt-a-Park program. Rittal staff also participated in the City’s Indigenous Programming at Port Credit Memorial Park, using stencils to create paintings of moccasins worn by Indigenous people, on the sidewalk at Port Credit gazebo, to promote awareness and understanding of the history of the land we stand on, a program designed in partnership with the Mississauga community of the Credit First Nation. Rittal granted staff time off to participate in these activities, as a direct result of their feedback in past GPTW surveys.

Earlier in 2022, Rittal was awarded the ‘Oscar Business Performance Award’ by Rittal’s Global Headquarters in Germany, a great honour indeed, as it recognized Rittal Canada’s entire team in Canada to contributing to extraordinary performance in 2021. Andre Bousette added, “This Oscar Business Performance Award is extremely prestigious as it recognizes our collaboration toward excellence in performance on every level. It would not be possible without the effort of every one of our Canadian staff who work together every day to offer service excellence.”

In 1995, Rittal Systems Ltd. was established in Mississauga, and it immediately secured its place in Canada as an innovative manufacturer of high-quality enclosures, IT infrastructure solutions, climate control solutions, and accessories. The success of Rittal Systems Ltd. across Canada facilitated expansion across the country and the establishment of sales and distribution facilities in Montreal, Calgary and British Columbia. Rittal maintains additional warehouse space and a state-of-the-art Modification Center at their Mississauga location that spans over 10,000 square feet.

Rittal is delighted to be recognized as one of a Great Place to Work in Canada for the period of 2022-2023, thanks to their dedicated staff, partners, customers and all those who have helped to make Rittal a better and more satisfying place to work!
