The headquarters and distribution centre of Invertek Drives USA has moved into new premises in Libertyville, IL, near Chicago. The 19,060sq ft facility acts as the main distribution point in North America. The company established its original offices in Libertyville in 2018.

It comes as the company continues to grow its Sales Reps network covering all 50 states, in addition to appointing official service centres throughout the country.

“We’ve experienced exponential growth over the past four years as the Invertek brand and Optidrive products continue to be recognised for their quality and durability in industries throughout the US,” said Wayne Morris, Vice President of Invertek Drives USA, who leads a team of 18 employees covering sales, technical support, distribution and finance. “Demand is particularly high for our NEMA 4X outdoor rated VFDs which are being used in a wide range of industries US-wide, the ventilation and pumping sectors are huge growth areas for this range.”

He added: “The move to ever greater efficiencies in energy use and consumption alongside a commitment globally to cut carbon emissions as part of a drive to cut climate change is one key driver to our growth.”

“Alongside this, we’ve seen economic growth nationally which has resulted in manufacturing ramped up in most industries and demand for our products has grown with this.”

Wayne said they had successfully expanded their Sales Reps network. In addition, they had rolled out a network of approved service centres.

“We have a nationwide sales, service and distribution network in the US that is backed up by our global operations based in the UK. Combined, we can offer our customers a one-stop service for their variable speed drive needs backed up with nationwide Technical Support,” he said.

Invertek Drives, which has its global headquarters and manufacturing facility in the UK, employs more than 350 people, exporting to 80 countries globally through a network of offices and sales partners.
