Yaskawa America, Inc. launched their new digital product catalog of Servo motors and motion control products. Built by CADENAS PARTsolutions, the new tool enables engineers to quickly find, configure and download a 3D part model of Servo motors directly from Yaskawa’s website.

Make your 3D part models available as CAD downloads to your customers – for online business, it makes a difference. Learn more!

As the world’s largest manufacturer of AC inverter drives, motion control and robotic automation systems, Yaskawa sought a solution to make their products easily available to online customers. Before launching their new configurator, engineers would turn to search engines to find Yaskawa product downloads.

“Before implementing the PARTsolutions Product Configurator, a number of our customers would have a difficult time locating documents on our website.” said Dakota Miller, Product Specialist at Yaskawa America, Inc. “Sometimes, this would cause them to leave our website entirely and look for the drawings they needed elsewhere.”

Now, engineers and designers can use Yaskawa’s digital product catalog to find and configure a Servo motor in just minutes – without ever leaving Yaskawa’s website. Engineers can also customize the product using the drop-down options built into the catalog, see an interactive 3D preview of the part and download it into their application as a native CAD file.

“For our customers, being able to view CAD in real-time and to use the drop-down options to build the part is really useful. It’s valuable for customers to be able to see what options they have to customize their motors, select those options, and then the configurator builds it for them,” said Miller.

With over 100 CAD formats to choose from, as well as configured 3D PDF data sheets, the new catalog simplifies the engineering process from start to finish, freeing time for the customer and Yaskawa’s engineers alike.
