ABB’s Nathalie Pilon receives an honorary doctorate from Concordia University

Recognized for her career as a business leader and innovator, passionate about people, technology and sustainability, Nathalie was invited to address the graduating class of the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science.  

“Concordia University and ABB share a vision for Canada to be a global leader in the rapidly developing renewable energy economy and fourth industrial revolution,” says Nathalie Pilon. “I am honoured to have received this degree from the University of Concordia, and for the opportunity to have addressed the future leaders of tomorrow.”  

In her speech Nathalie challenged graduates to make their mark, by encouraging them to play an active role in the transformation of the world: “Don’t merely join the energy and fourth industrial revolutions and don’t be shy. Rather grab the bulls by the horns and lead these revolutions. We’re counting on you as global citizens to help us make the world a better place. Let’s write the future together.”
